The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Maui Chapter has awarded two $3,000 Architectural scholarships in 2023 in recognition of the applicants' accomplishments and pursuit of a career in architecture. Seabury Hall Maui graduate, Kaia Rose received the AIA Maui "Maui Architectural Group" Scholarship award. Kaia will begin this fall at the Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Jessica Vanni received the "Hawaii Off Grid LLC" Scholarship award. Jessica is currently attending the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. Congratulations to both awardees.
AIA Maui Scholarship recipients must be Maui residents and must be enrolled in a School of Architecture accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of scholastic ability, achievement, and need. Scholarship funds were donated by the National AIA Component Services, Hawaii Architectural Foundation, and AIA Maui members.
The 2023 scholarship checks will be presented to the scholarship recipients at the AIA Maui Scholarship Awards meeting to be held on June 28, 2023.
