The Maui Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) is proud to announce that AIA Maui, in conjunction with the Hawaii State Architectural Foundation and the National AIA Component Matching Scholarship Grant Program, will award two (2) scholarships in 2026 to qualified Maui County residents. One $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior enrolling in an architectural program, and one $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to an already enrolled architectural student. Accreditation by the National Architectural Accrediting Board will not be required for consideration as a scholarship recipient.

The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of scholastic achievement, extra-curricular activities, financial need, and commitment to returning to practice on Maui. Award of scholarship funds requires enrollment confirmation from the school or college.
